Farleigh Hospice

Farleigh Hospice is a registered charity (no. 284670) which provides hospice care to people affected by life-limiting illnesses across mid Essex. Since being established in 1982, our hospice and our team of healthcare professionals has grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of the community we serve.

We provide care for any illness that is considered life-limiting (including cancer, neurological diseases, and chronic heart, lung, and renal diseases), both in our Inpatient Unit and in our patient’s home environments. We also provide support for families and carers, and for people who have been bereaved. Our bereavement support is available to anyone in mid Essex, even if their bereavement is not connected to our hospice. You can refer yourself, a family member, or a friend to our services (with their consent), or you can be referred through your GP. For more information on referrals to Farleigh Hospice, please click here. Please note that specialist care and advice is provided according to a person’s individual needs, and you may be discharged and re-referred as your situation changes.
